Confined Space Awareness – This course give participants an insight on the theory element of confined space. It will idenify the risk and hazards involved and give the partiicpants a greater awareness of the dangers therefore reducing the possibiltiy of an accident
Course Programme:
- Setting the scene – case histories
- Confined Spaces – defiition, identifying hazards
- Safe Work Practices:
- What are entry permits & how are they obtained
- Safe procedures when entering & leaving confined space
- What to do in the event of an emergency
- Put an emergency plan in place
- Atmosphere Testing: Unsafe atmospheres
- Gas detection equipment
- Rescue Procedures
Confined Space Entry
This course is similar to the awareness course but has a practical element to it.
Each participant is allowed into a controlled confined space for a greater understanding in regard what to do in an emergency situation.

- Discuss finding of practical element
- This training is provided on a one to one basis, public training or private in house training.
Out of hours training and Saturday are at no extra cost
All our training is carried out from Cork to Dublin, Limerick to Galway, Kilkenny to Wexford, Tipperary to Sligo and everywhere in between.
